'These are my first pair of boots, and I never want to wear anything else again!'

'I regularly scroll through social media for outfit inspiration,' says Maddy (26). As a bridal stylist, she is constantly busy with the latest fashion and finding fun ideas for new looks. 'But in my own wardrobe, I am not at all experimental. I like to present my ideas using vision boards, come up with new combinations and save outfits that I am completely crazy about. For example, I browse through my photos every evening with satisfaction to prepare my clothes for the next day. I saw cowboy boots passing by more and more often in my feed, but I did not dare to take the plunge. After all, you don't see them every day.'

Inspiration

'At least, that was until I saw my best friend's daughter wearing the cutest boots. 'Where did you get those?' I asked her jokingly. She told me that she had discovered a new Dutch shoe brand with cute children's shoes that she was crazy about for her daughter. 'But they also have them in your size, you know!' When I was lying in bed that night, the thought crossed my mind again and I decided to take a look. I fell in love immediately. I spent another week thinking about it and then ordered them. I just wanted to try them out! The boots I liked were also on sale, so that was a bonus!'

Waiting for the postman

'I sat by the window like a little kid waiting for the package,' laughs Astrid. 'Every five minutes I refreshed the tracking to see if it had been updated. I almost had a stool by the door, haha! And I was so happy when I had the package in my hands. You could see at a glance that care and attention had gone into making the boots. The stitching was neatly finished and they just looked really sturdy and 'finished'. Because I'm quite tall, I chose the Conveted High boot. This has an extra high shaft with really cool stitching. Because of the color, the shoes actually go with everything.'

New style

'When I bought the boots, I discovered a love for bohemian fashion. I stepped out of my comfort zone more and more with cheerful prints and lace. People around me started to notice this, which was really nice to notice. I really developed my own style. Moreover, my best friend's daughter was crazy about the fact that we had matching shoes,' laughs Maddy. 'I now feel a lot more confident in my clothing style and I notice that I dare to experiment more and more. The collection of boots has expanded considerably... I really like that. I also like that I radiate that confidence to my customers. And all that for a pair of boots!'
